Anime Zero Evolution and Crafting

Evolution and crafting are the two ways Anime Zero turns act materials into power. Evolving a weapon unlocks its ultimate on G, and each weapon evolves once. Crafting turns the same materials into accessories, from Common pieces like the Leaf Shinobi Headband up to the Mythic Blast Archer Wings and Crown.

The evolve screen in game shows exactly what each weapon needs, and the recipes for Cosmic Warrior, Cursed King, Cataclysm and Paramita Pyre are below. Materials come from Story acts, Infinite waves 16 and up and the Spirited Away raid, and any material you keep missing is guaranteed after five dry runs.

WeaponEvolved formWhat the evolve screen asks forUnlocks
Cosmic Warrior Cosmic Warrior Awakened Three requirement slots, one of them 15 of a single item Ultimate skill
Cursed King Evolved Cursed King Sukuna Fingers from dungeon runs plus further items Ultimate skill
Cataclysm Awakened Cataclysm Seven requirements, Soul Fragments among them Ultimate skill, lobby aura and larger effects
Paramita Pyre Awakened Paramita Pyre Staff of Homa and Ghost from the Spirited Away raid Ultimate skill

How evolution works

Story acts on the Sakamoto street are where the first evolution materials drop.

Until a weapon is evolved its ultimate stays locked, so evolution is the single biggest power jump you can give your main weapon. The evolve screen lists every requirement slot, which tells you which act or raid to farm next, and the ultimate is ready on G as soon as the evolution completes.

Among these four, higher rarities ask for more. Cosmic Warrior, an Epic, needs three slots, one of them 15 copies of a single item. Cataclysm, the summonable Lyth, needs seven requirements including Soul Fragments, and its awakening also adds a lobby aura and larger skill effects. Cursed King asks for Sukuna Fingers, which drop from dungeon runs, and Paramita Pyre needs the two items that only the Spirited Away raid drops. A weekly quest that asks you to evolve two weapons rewards working on a second slot as well.

Accessories

Fourteen accessories are crafted from act materials, and a fifteenth, the Magic Pendant, is the reward for finishing every daily quest. You wear one accessory at a time, so the community tier is a quick guide to which piece is worth the materials. The two Mythic Blast Archer pieces pair high damage with both drop rate and cooldown reduction, which is why tier lists put them at S.

Materials, pity and the shop

Every Story act drops its own set of materials, and the act screen previews them before you queue. HxH acts received separate material lists on 3 October, and Infinite starts dropping materials from wave 16, which turns a long Nightmare run into a steady crafting feed.

Materials also have pity: if a run fails to drop an item you are farming, it is guaranteed after five runs without it. When even that is too slow, the crafting menu sells materials for gold. The 2X Drop Rate gamepass doubles material drops in every mode along with XP, cash and heals, so it shortens every evolution and crafting recipe.

For stockpiling, Infinite is the strongest option once a run passes wave 16, because materials keep dropping on every later wave while the coin and gem payouts climb; a Nightmare run that reaches wave 50 has also paid 21,000 coins and 2,450 gems along the way.

What to craft first

Aim for the two Blast Archer pieces. The Crown carries 20% damage with 7% drop rate and cooldown reduction, and the Wings trade some damage for 10% drop rate and a coin bonus, which makes the Wings the better farming piece and the Crown the better raid piece. Dark Captain Wings at 17% damage are the strongest Legendary for fights, while Light Admiral Cloak and Flame Pirate Hat lean toward drops and progression.

Commons and early Epics are worth crafting once each for progress goals rather than for stats: the Crafter achievement asks for five different accessories, Master Crafter asks for ten and also unlocks a title, and a weekly quest wants three crafts. Sunglasses are the exception among the Epics thanks to their +11% crit chance.

Accessories go in a single slot for now. On 6 October players voted 7,520 to 141 in favour of equipping two at once, while the team took extra time on Update 2.
